Before Buying

Inspect the Item
Whenever possible, inspect the product, vehicle or property before making payment.
Verify Ownership
Confirm that the person offering the item has the legal right or authority to sell it.
Check Documents
For vehicles, properties, businesses and regulated services, verify relevant documents and approvals.
Be Careful with Very Low Prices
Unusually low prices may be a warning sign.
Avoid Pressure
Be cautious if someone insists that you:
- Pay immediately;
- Transfer money urgently;
- Use an unusual payment method;
- Keep the transaction secret;
- Send sensitive documents.
Payment Safety
Do not share:
- Bank passwords;
- OTP codes;
- PINs;
- Full card security information;
- Online banking credentials.
Emaratplace will not ask you to disclose confidential banking credentials through an unsolicited message.

- Claims to be an Emaratplace employee without verification;
- Sends suspicious payment links;
- Requests cryptocurrency or unusual payment arrangements;
- Requests personal documents unnecessarily.
Vehicle Safety
Before buying a vehicle, consider verifying:
- Ownership;
- Registration;
- VIN/chassis number;
- Accident history;
- Mileage;
- Inspection;
- Financing status;
- Import status.
Property Safety
Before paying a deposit or signing an agreement, verify:
- Ownership/authority;
- Property details;
- Landlord/agent identity;
- Required approvals;
- Contract terms;
- Payment arrangements.
Job Safety
Do not pay money merely to obtain a job unless the payment is clearly lawful and properly documented.
Be especially cautious of requests for money in exchange for:
- Visa promises;
- Guaranteed employment;
- Fake employment certificates;
- Guaranteed salaries.
Report Suspicious Activity
If you believe a listing is fraudulent, illegal or unsafe, report it to Emaratplace through the available reporting channel.
Emergency: If you believe there is an immediate threat to life, safety or security, contact the relevant UAE emergency or law-enforcement authority rather than relying solely on the Platform reporting process.
